I know how they feel. I honestly don’t care about shipping it’s fine if people want to ship characters, but there are some ships that I feel iffy with. When there are characters that are clearly not in a romantic relationship and are just in a friend relationship, the internet can’t accept that for some reason.

That's how I feel about most of these ships. Especially those revolving around Lloyd, like Greenflame. I mean, Lloyd is still technically a little kid, so it feels like pedophilia.

It just feels that people want Lloyd so hardly to have a love interest. Just because reasons.
I mean, he has been paired with every single ninja and even that random girl from the Temple of Airjitzu!

It also bothers me how no two characters can be friends without people putting them in romantic relationships. Like, Cole and Jay. They are best friends, as they were the first two ninja that Wu recruited. They are the team within the team. But everybody has to go and pair them up romantically, even though Jay already has a girlfriend. It's not even the gay factor, either. It's the fact that no friendship is safe from romantic shipping.

Pretty much shipping for the sake of shipping.
I've seen this plenty of times. Literally no character can interact with the other because shipping comes immediately.
Like when Dareth put Nya her makeup during the Tournament, well guess what?
Maaan. Bionicle didn't have this kind of stuff. Love wasn't even canon.

And they are shipping literally every combination, too. Greenflame, Bruiseshipping, Glaciershipping, Lavashipping, GreenIce, Ronya, Plasmashipping, Garmacest, Skywalker... they're endless!
I guess Bionicle doesn't have shipping because it doesn't have human characters? Like, people will be more ready to ship human characters over non human ones. That's my guess.

And yeah, most of its characters were mechanichal, thus, no love. Although there were biological characters, it was seen less of them.
There are shippings, obviously, but they are not as bad as these by any means.

Strictly speaking, though, he doesn't really seem to be ten anymore. He definitely doesn't act like his ten-year-old self, and he thinks like a teenager. I couldn't see Kid Lloyd being leader of the team or leading the charge against Anacondrai warriors, and that whole speech about "becoming a man" towards the end of Season 5 doesn't seem like something you'd direct at a ten-year-old.
Aside from just a hint of naiveté, he seems like pretty much your average (average-for-Ninjago) teen.

"The next ninja!" "Lloyd's next love interest!" "Next season's focus!" "Half-Life 3 confirmed!"
But yeah, Lloyd definitely does not seem to be 10-something. Though, I'm not able to see him as a leader yet. One day it was Cole (And if you read the books, it explains perfectly that leadership) but suddenly, Lloyd was it.
I simply like to see Wu as the actual leader, with all five (Also Nya) as equals.

Yep, have read the books! And yeah, it was pretty weird how they just completely forgot that Cole even had a leadership role at all. He was pretty good with it; most of the time you wouldn't even guess he was in charge, but he knew how to keep things running smoothly. Really a shame what they did to him from Rebooted onwards.

I think the books can explain a lot of Ninjago perfectly. They are some true gems of it!
And yeah, it was all sudden. It just felt that they made him suck just so they could make Lloyd appear to be better. Now they did the same with Kai in this season.

Yeah, I love 'em. Especially that "A Team Divided" one set between Rebooted and Season 4; Tracy West managed to explain in a few sentences what I'd been struggling to say about the Jay-Nya-Cole triangle in whole essays. XD

Wow, I actually don't remember seeing any for Season 2 . . . I bet those are cool!
Yeah . . . I do appreciate the comics, but some of them are better than others. In a few of them, it kinda feels like it's just seeing how many fancy double-crosses and plot twists the author can squeeze in, and a lot of the personality and charm of the series gets lost. "Night of the Nindroids" was the biggest disappointment in that respect; I'd been expecting some character development for Zane, and instead it just felt like one long string of "Ha! I fooled you when you thought you fooled me into fooling you!"
Which I guess is a pretty cool plot if you like that sorta thing, but it's not my cup of tea. P:
