I asked her why she was wearing the sunglasses even though it was not a very bright day. She did not answer until we got into the car. When were were inside, she moved her dark glasses down her nose and showed me her eyes. They were cloudy and misaligned. It seemd she was looking at me with her left eye only while her right eye was turned into the inner corner.
"This is the reason," she said, "why I always wear dark glasses."
I was looking at her beautiful face with those strange eyes in a shock. Her pupils were shaking. ¨
"My right eye is inthe corner constantly, and I suffer from nystagmus.
"What is nystagmus?" I asked.
"It is the fast motion of my eyes, I cannot concentrate an object."
"What can you see?" I asked.
"Everything is blurry. I am legally blind."
She kept the glasses down her nose for a while, waiting for my reaction. I could not say a word. Her face was amazing. Her eyes fascinated me.
"Do you still think I am pretty?" she asked.
"Yes." I breathed out. "You are beautiful."
"But, but I am disabled." she said.
"I am saying you are beautiful to me and your special eyes make you look fragile and gentle and I feel I should protect you." I answered.
I leaned towards her a kissed her forehead.
"You do not need to hide your eyes from me. I accept you as you are."
"Will you feel the same when I start using the white cane?" She asked quietly. "I will happen soon." she added.
"Yes, I will." I said firmly.
Little did she know that she was a woman of my dreams, because I had a soft spot for disabled girls and a strong fetish for visually impaired women.
The idea of walking with her in public while she is carrying the white cane in one hand and holding my elbow with the other was unbelievably arousing. That day I decided to marry her.
