Description
The Crown Jewel of my (rather small) Hornby Railway trains collection. a 1950s built flying scottsman engine, in original packaging. plus 3 1950s carages, also in original packaging, another fairly old carage, and 2 more, modern carages, the 1 on top is not in the original packaging. strange thing is, there are 3 sleeping cars, only 2 passenger cars, and 1 break car, when a more traditional layout would be a front and back break car, and about 6 passenger cars, with no sleeping cars.Related content

I wish I had three sleeping cars. Where'd you get them?

well, when i bought it all for £18 second hand, all boxed, it came with the engine, 2 passenger cars, and 2 sleeping cars, i then later bought a pack of 2, including 1 sleeping, and 1 brake car.

Well Bachmann has made models of Thomas and Friends characters. They've made models of Thomas, Percy, Toby, Henry, Henrietta, Gordon, Troublesome trucks, S.C.Ruffey, Mavis, Edward, Spencer, Emily, Annie, Clarabel, James, Emily's coaches, milk wagon, sodor fuel wagon, and tar wagon.

The packaging is wrong for 1950's models. Hornby never had these mouldings until the 1970's.

at a car boot sale, yes, i went to a model shop and payed £10 just for that other sleeping car later on. had it all eximined too, the engine and first 3 coachs are all 1950s built.
