Description
Over 100 trials to get the timing, lighting, water color and falling object right... then I get this amazing shot. I have two that I think are better (because I captured the splash at a better moment) but I like this one because it's cool looking. The piece that has settled on the bottom is the Monopoly (boardgame) battleship. I thought the title was fitting. You Sunk My Battleship!
Shot in my basement with a desk lamp and my fancy camera flash for lighting with the contrast and brightness moderately adjusted in Photoshop. The background is a large sheet of white paper; the glass is sitting on a small table which is against the wall, so the paper curves, making the shadow curve as well.

xD When I saw someone's picture of a marble falling into a champaign glass and thought to myself, "Hey, I could totally do this better." Photoshop helps, though

-ecstatic grin- Woo! Yay me! -mumbles- Even though I know I could've done it better... (I just don't feel like devoting that much time to it; I was down there for like.. three hours getting these shots of water glasses and flowers). I'm happy with this, though, or else I would've kept shooting through dinner.
