This is very beautiful.. The colors are vivid and the detail is very lovely. And the subject matter.. Well, I'm a sucker for beauties with odd features like this. [I'm a MAJOR eyepatch lover too.] I gotta fave.

I like the look of the almost samurai-like armor on the neck, face, and arms. I also find it interesting the the wheels are two different kinds. It really makes the picture more interesting. But what I really like is the fact that there's no robotic legs in this. you know how people will draw a person whom has lost a limb and replace in with some cool robotic contraption? Well thats all right, but what you've done with the wheels makes it seem much more real, and makes me want to know more about the person in the picture even more. there are lots of stories about characters who are just updated 60 billion dollar men, but what you've done is create someone who looks like their life would fill volumes of books on human triumph. and now I'm just rambling. sorry. anywho, I like this, just wanted you to know than. *^_^*

This is great! You really grasped what I was striving for with this picture..
I love human beings in all, when they are at their their best in emotional level.
There are terrible idiots, but mostly they are the ones who have never been through anything bad. Human triumph indeed, because people who can go through horrible things, likeloosing a limb and still stay sensible and understanding without going bitter is just something so amazingly great.
I have friends who really inspire me in that section.. wonderfull people who have gone through different difficult times, and can still see the bright side..
Ugh. O_O Now look who's rambling.. @_@;

Well, I personally don't find people missing limbs... cool or hot, sorry. But it's okay, the picture is well-done nontheless!
I like the realistic touch you've given to her stomach and chest, although the way you've shaded the area under her breasts and above her navel is perhaps a bit too round; the ribcage looks like it's too small and on the sides. The lower abdomen and the hips look good.
The way you've colored her hair looks great; it's so messy and curly and looks tangled-up in a realistic way. I also like the butterflies that cover her nipples as they have lovely transparency to them, and they are so detailed! They really look like some large butterflies from a tropical forest.
Also, the right wheel looks very three-dimensional because of the way you've drew and shaded it. It looks like it's really made of wood, too, not just some brown plastic or something.
I personally think that some warmer color would have suited the background better; the cold grey kind of kills the warm look her exotic butterflies and a tanned skin create... =/
But overall, the details are spot on and the idea is unique.

Thank you for the priceless comment. I had some difficulties with the abdomen area, it has been fixed multiple times with coloured pencils. xD This was the best I could do with it, after I accidentally coloured her tummy too dark.
Yes, and about the missing limbs being cool or sexy.. it is not that I'd think of them cool, I'm more trying to proove that even people who are missing limbs can look beautifull, because human body is strong and curvy, even when missing something.
And by missing a limb, I get a feeling they have acchieved something else, in a spiritual level.. it's hard to explain, but these pictures I will do, will portray more of the beauty of the mind and human body, rather than trying to be cool..
Ooh, and yes, about the background colour.. her skin's pohjavΓ€ri (tΓΆΓΆt) is the same as the background, very cold purple/grey... it doesn't show too well, but it is, giving a bit of a depht in colours to her skin.
Yup yup... it looks a lot better in real life, but I'm going to try to adjust it with computer more, so it would look like the real version more, when I will have the time. ^^

I know that abdomen area can be a bitch; I often forget to consentrate on making it look logical when coloring. >__>
I wasn't sure what you were going after with the limblessness-stuff and since you've said you have a fetish on 'em in that one journal, I kinda imagined that you just though it looks good. But I can understand your point on your reply... Missing a limb does not take away the person's beauty (not inner nor outer), and also when losing something as important as a limb there must be something that 'makes up to it'. Not neccessarily replacing it but somehow compensating the lack of it. Like when a person is blind, s/he can hear things better and so on~

My fetishes are all very oddly connected to intelligence, so that explains also WHY I have a fetish on stubs. xD
Intellectual and spiritual well being.. yes, there must be something that grows spiritually when people lack thing fysically.
For example eunucs in year xy were told to be very wise and calm, atleast in a book I read... and they did lack of a very.. uhm.. manly part of their being.
Human body and mind are interesting things.. if you lack a thing, it will be maken up to.. people are made to survive, I guess. ^^
