I play star fleet battles , so I've come across references to the "flag bridge", plain "bridge", "aux bridge", and "emergency bridge"; so now to find the others.Β

When I was a kid, I loved Auxiliary Control. Β It was like a precursor to the Battle Bridge.

Always liked that set, but a question remains: how do you GET to those controls behind the screen?Β The set blueprints show only one door, but in "Doomsday Machine" Washburn goes in and out of there w/o seeming to cross over into the main room.

I don't know... maybe I should make the door in this cutaway, but in blueprints it is missing... what do you think?

I think it depends on your goal for this project.Β Are you depicting the set "as built" for a given episode, or are you shooting for "this is what the room 'really' looks like"?Β Decide which version you consider "authentic" to your purpose and go from there.
If you go for the "what the real room is like" version, according to the reference page you linked to, there should be another "cubby" to the left of the viewscreen on the left hand wall (but not the "grill" and Engineering panel).

Yes, the unseen phantom door into the ante room ))
Read this: tosgraphics.yuku.com/topic/418β¦
"Even though this is never seen in the episode; Scotty does go into the corridor and emerges behind the screen wall from that direction so we can assume there had to be a door there . . . at least in this episode!!!"

You can either add the door (single panel, yellow), or take out a grillwork section.Β Either version could be considered "authentic" since both appeared on screen.

Actually the yellow door wasn't seen on screen neither on blueprints (but it should be there, because the people came behind the grill)... but i will let it be as it is right now, that's how it is in blueprints.

Cool.Β The reference on the page you cited showed it, so I assumed that it was there.Β Good job regardless.
As for new Projects, I left you a suggestion on the Defiant quarters variant for the S3 TOS Engineering (and offered to share a partial reference).Β I might also suggest Emergency Manual Monitor (seen in "Mirror, Mirro"r) the big horizontal Jeffires Tubes for the TOS Connie (seen in "In A Mirror, Darkly"), and the Enterprise-D torpedo bay (seen in "In Theory").
