It's not much bigger than a van, and one wouldn't expect a van to have a toilet inside.

Well, I wouldn't use a van to travel between star systems. I mean, those shuttles are actually used to travel not so short distances in the show, and you can't just stop somewhere and leave the shuttle to pee. Just something that always bothered me.

Yeah. With how slow these are supposed to be (warp 2) there's no way you'd get anywhere near another star system before you pee'ed your pants.Β

I was thinking perhaps there's a slide-out unit but even then, there would be no privacy, which seems to be valued in the future in the show. So I'm thinking basically a coffee can thing, a photonic privacy screen, and a reverse replicator that breaks down waste and stores its molecules somewhere. But then you would want some way to wash your hands afterward...

I see you're slowly coming over to SketchUp. Any plans on doing your interiors in SketchUp?

Ah, I see. Do you just use it to make images of the models then?

Ooh, This is one of my top 3 favorite Shuttle Designs, alongside the Type 9 and the type 7.
