Description
An alternative to the Type 9 cargo shuttle from the Tech Manual. I scaled her length to 12m. amd restored her bow to it's original shape.Credits on image.

I like the larger size. I think in the show they make them small for cost purposes, but especially on TNG some were so small to be practical.

The "main" shutles (Type 6-9) were all in the 8m range, which is pretty good for a shuttle. This is supposed to be used for larger amounts of cargo (though you could fit seating and turn it into a "bus" shuttle easily enough. Shuttlepods were introduced for production reasons and they really are impractical for any journey more than a few hours.
