Description
Playing around with alternate nacelles.Credits on pic.
*EDIT* Gave this one a bit of a trim too.
*Final Edit* Well, realized I had a fundamental mismatch in my nacelle placement on the pylon struts. I could either move the nacelles (which would have meant basically redoing it from scratch, or I could tweak the pylon in the ventral view, which was the only one that needed adjusting in that case). So I did.

You did an incredible job; I always loved this ships design and it looks allot better with Excelsior-style nacelles. I was reading from Spencer Perdriau Facebook concerning the cross section of his Enterprise- A that the length of this ship 730 meters in length if that is the case that would make this ship longer than Excelsior class and Galaxy class.

Nice one. I like it. But.....there is nothing quite like the Constitution-Class

Sexy design imo.
I like the big but thin and sharp edged saucer, as well as the wide but (almost) fluid looking engineering hull and neck.
What i would change are the edgy pylons (maybe some more courved) and i'd try some other kind of nacelles (maybe a bit more next gen. like).
+Fav!

That was kind'a the point of flattening the Excelsior-style nacelles when I made the change. I flattened them and took off all the "fins" (see the original Excelsior class Enterprise-B for unaletered nacelles).

Interesting that you said, you flattend the nacelles already, i havent noticed that.
In my understanding the nacelles would be much wider but shorter (maybe somehow curved?), to be more in line with the elegant saucer design.
But i have been said to have a terrible taste when it comes to Star Trek ships, lol.

I only did it about 25% so you might not necessarily notice unless paying really close attention.
Removing all the "fins" REALLY changes the look though.
