This is very helpful - thank you! And I don't have a ring mandrel/gauge, and I always wondered what to use. So lip balm container. I never would have thought of that! Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

You can use any similar things (markers for excample), that have a same size as your finger

You can get some cheap metal files, I think I got a pack of 10 for under 5 pounds and they last forever. I was using a nail file at first but they're really not great for metal.

Hmmm.... nem is tudtam hogy a hegesztésnél(mig), ill. transzformátorgyártásnál használt zománcozott huzalokból is ilyen ötletes ékszer készíthető.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

bodaszilvia In reply to ALFA007 [2013-02-19 22:48:47 +0000 UTC]

háááát... zománcozottból nem biztos, hogy jó a gyűrű, mert a zománcok előbb-utóbb kopnak, gyűrűhöz inkább a csupasz rezet javasolnám

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ALFA007 In reply to bodaszilvia [2013-02-19 23:35:09 +0000 UTC]

Az igaz, próbál ki a lágy(cink-ón,elektronikai), ill. kemény(ezüst,klímatechnikai) forrasztást is.
Igaz, inkább műtárgyak,és szobroknál alkalmazható.
Hátha neked is kisül valami. De először keress rá a forrasztási technikákra, aztán gyakorolj.

Ui.:Mindig kel egy ki változatosság.
