That is quite the neck!
I accidentally flushed an American bittern from the rushes on a walk a few days ago. Seems I usually encounter wading birds where they're either too far away for decent shots, or as then I don't see them til it's too late. I'd love to get shots like this of any of the wading fish birds in my area.
