Description
Some quick sketchies of Crispin, my Alado character at FIBF. I was lazy and just put color dots on it instead of actually coloring it.Wings reseble those of a long-tailed shrike.
Hair is honey-brown, eyes are dark brown with a green fleck in the right.
I left out the pauldrons and messed up on the collar of his tunic. Instead of what I've got there, think something more along the lines of what Karel from Fire Emblem wears.

That one was just an exception. You should see some of my other sketches -- big and messy. It drives nuts when I help her with some of her stuff, she can't abide my messy lines. Ha ha.
See if you can get a kneaded eraser -- they're moldable and don't pick up the paper like normal erasers do (that's what all that eraser dust is) and they erase *really* well.

The ref sheet was wonderful. I've done some quick sketches already, and I think I'm making him look too young... Hm....
I've not played FE, but my sister :iconSergeant-Fruitfly: does. And she's got an amazing stockpile of FE pics, so... ^-^

Oooh, this is pretty neat! I really like the wings, especially in the upper right sketch. They've got a proper heaviness to them for their size.
I'd love to see more of this character!

Thanks! I've always tried to make my characters' wings look proportional and reasonably realistic -- none of that anime-floofy stuff or really small wings, either.
They're still not great looking, though. But we'll work on that.

Thanks. He's got a mean streak in him that's not quite angel-like, though, and he's definitely not spirit.
Hopefully I'll have some better pics of him soon-ish. Gotta put together a proper reference.
