I really Like this art style. It has a very nice feeling to it, and makes you try and understand all the feelings put into this painting. Sadly, I cannot understand it, or even try to claim that I can begin to comprehend it. I would love if you would message me and let me know how you felt during this painting.

My breasts grew fast when I was a kid, not only do they have stretch marks all over them, they aren't as perky as a 17 year old's should be. They actually look a lot like the model's here. I'm gradually getting to accept it. I'm a confident girl but I'm still insecure, even though my boyfriend reassures me. But you know, seeing pictures like this makes me feel alright knowing there are other girls out there with the same features as me and knowing they see themselves as beautiful gives me all the more confidence to accept my body for what it is and love ALL of me :] Thank you.

I know how you feel D: Mine too, back when I was in high school I was VERY insecure about it. I am working to break the insecurity though! Just think like this: You got people who love you, you do not judge others for their body WHY JUDGE YOURS, life is very short we can't waste too much time hating ourselves, there is ALWAYS someone worse off than you (at least you have legs, at least you're not starving to death, etc etc.)
I still get insecure sometimes, I can't wear elegant dresses very well and it does make me sad, but I am going to live with it! You just have to be strong! Treat yourself like a person you just met! You wouldn't hate them for their lack in perky would you?
Sometimes it helps to joke about it, at least for me, I tell my husband WELL AT LEAST YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN I AM 50!! Or at least they make decent pillows! They also work as kitty holders :3

Agreed. I feel ugly for being fat. I think girls like the cheerleader in Heroes are prettier than I am. Or Jennifer Love Hewitt. Fuck she's gorgeous. It's sad I do though, and it's sad media and people agree that my type isn't beautiful.

Wow I love the effects and the message here! I'm EXTREMELY close to this size, and it sends such a beautiful and positive message to many of the other girls out there who are similar! Also aside from the art, you are an extremely beautiful and attractrive woman, should be proud of who you are and embrace your beauty! Well done!

I agree with many of the above statements..if this is how you feel about large women then you yourself are the pig..and secondly this looks like a giant rip off of Four Yips work.

What I love most about this piece is the contrasting thoughts of everyone who's taken a gander.
Some see it as a slap in the face of the BBW community, others see it as a bold statement for the "bigger model."
I see, personally, a statement against current social and media standards of what's beautiful and what's not. But who am I to say what this really is? It's a huge, controversial mystery to me, which makes me appreciate this composition even more.
Excellent work.

If this is what you think of women of substance, then you are a pig! Why don't you do the world a favour and kill yourself?

Wow telling someone to kill themselves over something like this? You are one of the most unpleasant people I've seen on here, it's sad that you value life so little. :/

I love it. Definitely bold, and although the message is straightforward, I feel like there are many different contributing elements that intensify the thought.
It's sad.

I realize you consider this beautiful by reading the comments and I apologize about my comment, but I stick to the truth and my opinion of it.

I hate this. This, to me, is stating all big, beautiful women are pigs and need liposuction, and to lose weight.
I know bigger people often have a veracious appetite, but that does not mean they are "pigs". It means they enjoy cuisine. And grown up adults understand this. By grown up I mean mature. A lot of bigger people have reasons why they are bigger, such as thyroid problems, or metabolism problems.
I strongly hate this piece and what I believe it stands for.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe this is how this person views themself rather than "all big women"? My guess is you are a big woman and feel offended because you see her bravely showing what she feels.

I disagree with Stacy's comment. I found this piece very interesting and refreshing. I am not saying that the other pieces of art that is related to plus size women isn't beautiful, but this also has a beautiful aspect too, on the darker side of things.
Not only does this photo quite truthful, but not every person that is considered "plus sized" and/or "bbw" have the highest esteem. Women of all shapes and sizes can low-self esteem. I am sorry to go off-topic.
There are always going to be "stereotypes" of things, people, etc. but she did this artwork tastefully.
Ironically, I came across a photo of someone that looked like they were underweight, with a caption that said, "I am fat".
Great photo-manipulation.

I have news for you- You're not a BBW. BBW stands for big beautiful woman and you're only a self hater who thinks it's ok to try and portray bbw in such a disgusting manner. I'm really disappointed and disgusted that this is the FIRST image people see when doing a search for BBW here on Deviant Art. It really gives people the wrong impression of BBW.
