Description Carter: Holy carp! I'm seeing double!
Jun 1: Sir, you're not seeing double.
Carter: Then which one of you is the real Jun?
Jun 1&2: I am.

Just something I thought would be funny.

Cloning isn't always wrong, but in this case, yeah it is. XD

well shit, it would kind of make sense, the earth and such other planets are far enough into the future to figure out FTL travel, so cloning would be a cakewalk for them then. it would be all kinds of wrong, but the UNSC can't really afford to argue, with the covies on their doorstep.

Cloning can also be used to give someone who cannot have a child or have lost one, a new one. My character, Emma Carter, can't have children because she didn't realize the rounds of a fuel rod gun was radioactive until she was told. She spent a shit ton of money to have her daughter made. though there can be sideffets that can effect the clone. Emma's daughter is 100% blind.

indeed, but i was thinking more along the lines of accelerated growth clones, like in the star wars series. the UNSC clones their dead soldier, accelerates the child's growth, and trains them over the course of a few months on how to use the MJOLNIR apparatus. once satisfied that the clone knows all that they can about their suit, they're given a weapon, and sent out into the wide open expanse of space to fight the covenant. that may be so, but if the DNA was extracted before a fatal accident (radioactive death, spartan MIA, etc.) then they can grow a new clone in its place. but i have a feeling it would turn out too much like star wars, though. basically having the clones fall under the UNSC heel with the utterance of a code word, or something of the like. that's why i'm not one for cloning, it just put an eerily chill down my spine, knowing they're completely under their military's control, whether they know it or not.

The cloning method that Halo has used besides normal cloning is flash cloning. Flash cloning might be faster, but it'll still take years to get them to military standard if it clone has no memories, and normal humans CANNOT wear MJOLNIR.That armor is not only too fucking expensive. if your body hasn't been augmented or augmented properly. It'll kill you while it's shrinking down to your size. my Cloned character, John Carter, is a Flash Clone, but they spent 4 years making sure he was military grade ready before he woke up.
