Description
this photo was inspired by exorcism movies (specifically the devil inside), and it was a royal pain.every room in our house is so cluttered with furniture that it is impossible to get the angle you want. Also, it's impossible to move all the furniture out of the way, so no matter where i went, i had table ends and lamps and crap in my shot, to the point that it's too much of a chore to photoshop them all out.
the stool thing i used to balance on killed my back. i definitely have bruises now...i need to find something a little more friendly to "levitate" on next time, i think.

Amazing photo...
But, how did you make it? Did you tie her up to the ceiling and remove the ropes in photoshop, or what?

nahh, i just used a stool on the bed. then took a photo of just the bed, so i could photoshop the stool out. there's no way i could hang ropes off my bedroom ceiling.

This photo is better, more original, and less headache-inducing than the entire movie. Seriously. Nice work

To be honest, I think having your normal, mundane surroundings makes this image all the better. Aside from the obvious possession you got going on there, it seems to be just a normal, safe, happy home. But then BAM! Possession...
Okay, that probably didn't make as much sense as I hoped it did, but the point is this is fantastic!

This piece is just a visual work of art. Excellent job.
Plus, it seems either the devil is trying to get out, or maybe burn the goodness out of you.
Fav'd.

Wow neat, worth the back pain, but a comfy levitating device would be useful.

Great work. I know as a photographer, we always sweat the small details and tiny flaws seem larger than life to us. But you've done a wonderful job with this photo.
Take an ibuprofen, I hope your back feels better soon!

You may have suffered for your art but obviously paid off. This image is brilliant itβs like βThe Exorcistβ meets βSupernaturalβ.
In any case I hope you have the Winchesterβs number, it looks like you may need it.
