The owner has the fittings (that are very similiar to the carving I did) for the scabbard,he will be making it himself, he is a very good wood worker. He was just waiting for me to carve the bone handle grips.It wll be a very nice piece when done. Ill try to get pics when its done,when ever that will be!

That would be great.
I have done my deal of wooden and leather scabbards, but intricate carving is not my cup of tea.
All the better to admire the work of someone who really has mastered it.
