So I have this monster/mutant Springman AU that I've been drawing on tumblr but haven't shared here yet ffff Can check it out here: bonkalore.tumblr.com/tagged/mu…
Figure it would have kind of happened in phases. was the bottom arms first, then the bulking up more, then the top set, and idk if maybe even other stuff from there… still working out design things. Generally the ARMS stuff seems to happen only while the host is asleep/unconscious, but these likely happened while he was up and about, which is a bit horrific (tho idk if he stayed conscious during or after considering…).
He would have stayed positive initially with just the 4 arms. Looks more like Spider Spring lol. It was shocking and quite a drastic life change, but he was eventually adjusting and learning to accept that this just may be how things are now. … And then it just got worse. Hope kind of took a crash for him and seeing himself as a freak and terrified of what else might happen.
Other ARMS people suddenly terrified if the same could happen to them or if it could spread. He would end up going to the labs to be studied and put in quarantine until they were sure it was something that wouldn’t somehow infect others as well. Suddenly they’re wishing they really knew more about this whole ARMS thing and how to fix effects if they can…
When he’s going through all that tho, I’m sure all the other fighters would be very concerned and supportive of him and hoping he’ll be better one day to join them again. Twintelle donating a bunch of money toward the research. Ribbon Girl and Max Brass getting together the others to visit him in the lab bringing lots of pizza. Even the more reserved fighters would send him get well cards.
Helix would just kind of hang around and just be glad to have a roomie, while Spring Man starts questioning his sanity for eventually mostly understanding Helix’s form of communicational squeaks and screeches.

He needs longer legs 
What will happen to him from now on? Is his mutation stabilized or he's going to keep growing and changing? (btw, how tall is he now?)

Well his legs have a lot of muscle and his upper body strength would keep him upright, but I can see him still ended up with back issues from it all, if not just from having to hunch over all the time for things.
I actually JUST posted a progression chart of him on my tumblr (you can find a lot more info/pics on my tag of him there as well): bonkalore.tumblr.com/post/1667…
His final growth seems to stop around 8'2". Don't think he'll be gaining any more arms from there at least (the mental strain would probably be too much anyway). He does end up with an armor form that he can switch on and off in defense that he finds out about on accident at some point... It looks creepy lol
As for everything else, it's quite a bit to say... Hopefully I'll be telling more of the story within the other pictures to come (I'm behind sharing on DA than I am on tumblr)...

Cool chart. I think he already has enough arms too...
A suggestion: it would be fun if his legs were the next changing bodypart in his metamorphosis, becoming long, thick springs like his (first) pair of arms, bearing better his increasing weight and improving his mobility and speed... but that would likely mess his mind even more (he would start fearing his whole body was going to become a giant spring) and add one or two feet to his height even after retracting his spring-legs)

Well, with everything taken into an account, I think fainting isn't all that farfetched idea. It looks like a lot of pain. I feel sorry for the guy.
Also, thanks for showing me this awesome game. How did something like this managed to escape my radar? I could swear I was on guard every day....

I don't know how much I'd want to see this in canon but it'd make an interesting subplot. Sort of like that weird two part Man Spider episodes in the early 90's Spider Man cartoon...
Still the more interesting part is all the different competitors banding together for him. Even with rivalries and Max Brass' probably very mightier and holier than thou's aura about him.

Honestly, the more I find out about all the Arms lore and stuff the more this seems like a thing that could very likely happen?? It's fun to play with regardless tho.
And yes, I know they would all stick up for him. He's their sunshine boi. ;o;
