Description A bumblebee on some Erica carnea (Spring Heath) in the garden.

I dont know about you, but it almost looks like its a little shy about being photographed

Taken with a 58mm M42 lens, going through a 2X tele-converter

Hopefully with my minolta MD 70-300mm. I got a sony a200 but I have lenses for an slr and prefer the hand controls. And honestly I think the idea of letting the camera do all the work is silly!

Wow, your Minolta is going to be a great super-zoom with the 10x converter!
I'm looking forward to seeing what its like

I'm a little on the fence about letting the camera do everything. I don't use the main auto settings on my Canon 400D, I usually stick with shutter or aperture priority. With lenses that have autofocus, or servo focus, I would uses them for fast moving subjects, but I do prefer to manually focus.
