Beautiful color. It looks like you used a polarizer, did you?

Thanks, Im glad you like another of my pictures.
As for using a polarizer, I didn't use one for that shot, because I dont own one yet (all my money went on my new camera and a mem-card). Thats all just post shot processing

Wow, you did good. It looks so natural still. I'm getting a new cam soon but don't know what one. Canon rebel XT or nikon D40 or canon S5 IS.

Cheers!
Nice choices of Camera's, I was going to get a Nikon D40, but went with the Canon EOS 400D, because it was the system I was most comfortable with (I upgraded from a Powershot A80).
What camera are you upgrading from?

Mostly just upgrading from point and shoot cameras. I've had a casio EX-z75, EX-1050 (took both of them back because I was short on money at the time and wanted to see what other cameras where like, the Z1050 was a good camera though), QV-R52, and a 16mm film camera.
I know a lot about the advanced features of SLR cameras and such though. So that's mostly why I'm upgrading, for the features and oppertunities. And I want to get a little more serious with photagraphy so that's why I want something good for a 100-800$ price range kind of thing. So far's it out of the D40 and S5 IS.
The canon has more zoom range withought me having to spend 300$ on a seperate lense, but the pictures are noisy compared to an SLR camera.
The nikon has better picture quality, but I would have to buy more lenses for more then the 55mm zoom.
Plus I'll be getting a polarizer, and ND filters. And to top it off I'll be looking for another Ultra-Compact point and shoot just for parties and stuff where I wouldn't be taking an expensive or bulky camera. So it comes down to not spending TOO much money but still getting what I'm looking for, and I also don't want to have to upgrade in another year.
Oh I'm saying either the S5 or the D40 because if its going to be an SLR, the canon rebel XT doesn't suit my standards like the D40 would. Compared them on dpreview.com

Wow, ha good luck not trying to spend TOO much money
Yeah I'm needing / wanting to get a polarizing filter and ND filter, and I remember seeing a great ND filter somewhere last year. It was great because you could turn a dial on the front and it would get darker or lighter (depending on which way you turn). I'm still trying to find out where it was I saw it though
