Description
Hypnos and ThanatosPersonification of the twin sons of Nyx and Erebos, according to Hesiodic and Homeric genealogy.
RESUBMIT from my old account because:
1) It's not the worst digital piece I've done...
2) I'm seriously considering picking up my Greek mythology series again. Their designs are satisfactory enough, so no redesigning them, i.e. I'm lazy.
Media: Calligraphy pen + ink for lines, Open Canvas for skin, PSE 2.0 for the rest.

Ahaha, yeah...when I decided to pick up Greek mythology pics again, I had to put this in. Thanks.

D: I seriously thought this was watercolored or traditionally painted somehow until I zoomed in. I'm jealous of the way you do digital art...

Ngrhrrhgghh...I wish I could be this neat with traditional.
Ah well. Digital is not gonna happen again for a while >_<

That's the thing about digital... it's so neat, but it's kind of hard to handle without making it look... childishly done. At least for me, anyway. You seem wonderful at it.
But yer traditional stuff is still fiendishly awesome, so I won't complain about you not doing digital for a bit. :3

Just the thought of trying digital again makes me cry. My hands aren't steady at the best of times; it's worse when I try to get things done with a mouse. But thanks
I'll stick with traditional for a while more, actually practice colors and stuff.

Tablets can be so finicky... >.< Mice are even worse. I don't blame you at all... I just do digital because I lack traditional means at the moment.

Getting used to a wholly different media is also a catch. But thankfully I have tons of paints from years back that are waiting to be used.

Ooh, yes definitely. I've been so used to drawing simple pencil sketches that trying to color ANYTHING was difficult, and moving to digital completely even moreso.
But perseverance! Practice, practice, practice, etc. etc. I just wish I had a better tablet. Mine has terribly few levels of pressure sensitivity.
Bahh, I'm jealous. I never had access to much paint except in Ms. Douglass' class.

Ugh...I'm so bad at the "perseverance" thing. Peh.
I took art classes during elementary school, had some watercolors left over.

Saaaame. If something starts turning out badly, it's very easy for me to toss it entirely. :< Or just leave it sitting there for a long, long while.
