In celebration of the on air release of Korra (aaand the reveal of the new villain, Amon, whom I already love), I did a little poster.Fans of Amon and the internets should be pleased!

After having seen episode 3 (The Revelation), I am tickled that my theory that Amon is an energybender was confirmed, but the theory that Amon is Aang & Katara's second cloudbaby (Bumi) seems to be on shaky ground; his backstory, as related at the Revelation, contradicts that theory. Then again, if Amon really IS Bumi, I don't think telling his Equalists that he is the son of the Avatar would earn him many brownie points...
I guess it all depends on whether or not Kya and Bumi appear in this series. We all know how broad of a vocal range that Steve Blum has (he voiced the camp-gay Leeron in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, after all).

I personally think Amon is Bumi; the only non-bender son of Aang and Katara...
Think, growing up with the Avatar as a father, the world's awesomest Waterbender as as a mother, and 2 bender siblings. (An Airbender and a Waterbender...just like their parents.)
There's gotta be a lot of resentment there...

So I'm not the only one who thought Amon's mask and name resembles Anonymous. I just hope Anon takes no offense... Hacked Nick studios would mean longer time for new Korra stuff. Which would drive the fans (including me) crazy.
