I don't mind of Zuko being on the bad side because he made bad choices but I kinda got mad of Katara being mad at Zuko.

Sad but true. I am glad I watched both shows kinda recently, so I was spared fandom battles. At least when it comes to ATLA. It is funny how Zuko is allowed to be a jerk and everything but Katara isn't allowed to be upset when he broke her trust in the first place. She is an honest and trusting person. When you break trust of such a person, you can't expect to be trusted again, let alone forgiven. Yet she forgave him eventually...uh, people. Don't get me wrong, I like Zuko. The whole team Avatar is awesome. But the fandom hate is ridiculous.

Zuko was confused with the first one, I get that. I still facepalmed when he made his choice at the end of Book 2.
312 came around, and I wasn't mad at Katara either. I'd be suspicious too if the guy who helped nearly kill my dear friend was suddenly here claiming to be a good guy and wanting to teach aforementioned friend fire bending.

Before 312 I just thought the guy just had his reasons, he was confused and had wanted to be accepted by his family so much, after 312 I again thought this and actually like that Katara was being hard on him, the past can't be easily forgotten and after two seasons of zuko doing what he did I thought it was pretty rational for her to be suspicious. 

I wasn't going to take sides and I still don't. It needed to happen so they could become who they are and learn from it I suppose.
I even felt bad for Azula, imagine being told you were better than everyone and that everyone was beneath you, only there to serve and obey you. he had pressure on her even if she didn't realise it and distanced herself, never knowing how to properly trust or treat friends. It all just came to a head by season 3.

Actually I understood why Zuko would act like so towards the other characters so I didn't really mind, but I honestly dislike Katara because of how she reacted.
