Description
In the distance, loud dubstep can be heard. Kreg the Primeape is lying on his bed, vibing to the dope beats blasting out. You could say that these moments are when Kreg is at his happiest some of the time.

Veritas heard the loud music blasting from the other room. She walked over to the room and knocked on the door. "Hello? Is anyone there?" She said behind the door.

Kreg is slightly disturbed by the intrusion, but doesn’t mind it too much and gets back to chilling.

"Hello?" the Kirlia repeated. "Could you happen to turned down the music a bit, it would be appreciated by some of the members,"

Kreg started to get a little ticked off and responded rather abrasively. “Why don’t you just leave me alone already? I’m trying to relax!”

Veritas sighed. “Please? I don’t want one of the Commanders to get angry or somethin’. Anyways you are still listening to it it’s just a bit quieter,” she said waiting outside the door.

“Ughhh…fine!” He begrudgingly turns off the music and opens the door. “What do you want?”

“You didn’t have to turn off the music sir. I just wanted to tell you to turn the music down a bit! That’s all,” She said looking at the strange colors of this Primeape.

He sighs. “I’m going for a walk.” He exits the Hideout to go for a stroll. He looks back the curious Kirlia. “You comin’?”

“Huh? Umm okay!” She said rather confused.

It’s quite a pretty day outside with little Fletchlings chirping and Flabébés floating on the wind. “Nice day, huh?”, he asked rather calmly.

Veritas looked at the Fletchlings and Flabébès with a smile. “Yup, it sure is,” she said.

“I usually come out here to look for weaklings to beat up.”

“Well that’s….nice,” she thought to herself. “For training probably! It’s probably nice finding Pokémon that like to fight!” She said trying to make the mood a bit more happy.

“Guess you can say that, yeah.” He got hit on the back of his head by a random Rock Throw. “OW! WHO THE HELL DID THAT?!?!”

“Huh?” Veritas turned around curiously. “Oh no-,” she thought to herself.

It was a Geodude who attacked first and Kreg is FURIOUS at him. (Not Anger Point level) “GrrrrRRRAH!” He first used Power-Up Punch and the Geodude slammed into a tree.

Veritas sat down next to a tree to watch the battle. “This’ll be interesting to watch,” she said quietly to herself

With his attack stat raised, he pins the Geodude to the ground and pummels it to near death with his favorite move: Thrash. Oh, but he isn’t done. He then grabbed the Geodude by the arm and slammed him around a couple times before spinning it and throwing the poor rock dude far away. He huffs toxic smoke out his nostrils after the battle. “That oughta teach him.”

She clapped. “That was cool!”. She stood up and clean off some of the dust on her from the battle.

“Heh. Thanks, kid.” He dusted off his hands and continued walking.

“No problem!” She said with a smile.

The houndour/rockruff hybrid jumped down from the tree she was napping in, landing with a THUD onto the soft grass. She yawned and stretched, a small flame emitting from her fangs as she yawned. She didnt even notice that she had landed in front of a Kirlia and a rather aggressive Primeape. Either that, or she didn't care.

“What was that?” Kreg looked around frantically.

"Hm? Oh hello there!" Veritas said without a clue. "Wanna join us on this walk?'

Lucifera merely glanced in the direction of the Primeape, this Kirlia was much more interesting. She smiled. "I suppose. I could stretch my legs a bit."

"Cool!" She said while she smiled back. "Anyways what are you doing out here?" Veritas Asked.

The hybrid cracked her neck. "Just taking a nap. The air is clearer out here than in my bunkroom." She replied.

"Thats nice! The air is nice out here!" She said looking at all the pokemon playing around.

"Yes. It is." The hybrid looked in the direction the wind was coming from, her ears flopping in the breeze. She sighed. And her stomach grumbled. She chuckled in embarrassment. "You guys wouldn't happen to have any food on you, would you?"

“Hmm I heard there might be a restaurant near here! We can steal so,e of the food!” Veritas said looking around for the road. “Or we can pick some berries from trees!”

Desert was bored and was just laying around, it was a beautiful day and he was having a good time hanging out and smelling the roses.

"Hmm" Luci thought for a moment. She then turned and sniffed the air, her mouth watering. "Theres some pecha berries over there. Interested in getting some with me?" She stole a glance at the Primeape, then continued to ignore him, smirking.

“What are you smirking at, huh?!”, he asked abruptly.

“Sure thing!” She replied. “Oop-“ she said to herself quietly.

Lucifera frowned at the Primeape. "Oh. I was just enjoying the silence. You're quite loud you know. You're actually the reason I woke up in the first place. Tsk tsk." She turned and began walking towards the pecha berry tree, then stopped and looked at the Kirlia. "Coming?"

Veritas followed Lucifera. "Hmmm Pecha Berries, I wonder where they get their heart shape from,"

"I dunno. But, they're my favorite berry." She took a rock into her mouth, and threw it at a ripe berry (rock slide) . It hit spot on and fell to the ground.

Veritas climbed up the tree and grabbed a Pecha Berry. "Delicious!" She said while getting a chomp out of the berry.

Luci took a large bite out of her own berry and nodded. "Mmhmm!"

Kreg reaches up and takes out the berry. “Hmmmm, meh.”

Vertias picked some more Pecha Berries and threw them to the ground. "This should be good for now!"

“Sweet is just not my flavor, but I do know what is!” Kreg punches a tree so hard that multiple spiky purple berries fall down, one of them landing on his hand.

“Wiki berries!”

“They are the flavor I love the most: dry! Not to mention that it’s also purple and spike like me!” He takes a big bite. “Mmm! Now, THAT’S a berry! Try some!” He tosses a few to Veritas and Lucifera.

She caught the berry and tried it. "Mmm! Thats good!" She said with a smile and a full mouth.

“Glad you like it! What about you…what’s your name?”

Luci took a bite of the berry, as she chewed, the dry flavor kicked in and her eyes widened. "Mm! Not bad!" She looked at Kreg. "Its Lucifera, Luci for short. Whats your guys' names?"

"Im Veritas!" She said looking at the fusion.

Desert watched the trio eating berries, but due to the fresh smells of the flowers that he decided to chill under a pecha tree.

“And I’m Kreg.”

Veritas noticed the Growlithe/Cubone and said "Do you want some berries?"

Desert looked over at Veritas, "Sure." He said.

She threw a Pecha and Wiki berry over to Desert for him. “These berries are really good!”

Luci finished the Wiki berry and continued to munch on her Pecha berry, she flicked an ear to the Cubone/Growlithe fusion, acknowledging him. She then looked at him and said, "Do you prefer dry berries or sweet berries?"

Desert eats both of the berries, and answers to the question by saying "Sweet berries, they just taste delicous."

“For me I like sour berries! I like sour foods for some reason!” She joined.

Lucifera tilted her head and smiled her crooked smile at the male fusion "I like you. Whats your name, guy?"

Charrade was out and about when the scent of berries hit them. Isn't that nice? And it sounds as if there's chatting! Their ears tilted forward as they searched for the source.

Upon the sight the hybrid grinned, "Hi! I'm Charrade, mind if I j-join?" He asked softly.

“Heya! You can join! We are just eating berries!” She responded with a smile

Desert looked at the hybrid, and he responded with, "Im Desert, its nice to meet you. So, what is everyones names here?" Desert claimed while tilting his head.

"I'm Lucifera. You guys can call me Luci." She took another bite of another Pecha berry, munching quietly.

"Lucifera, I kinda like that name."

"Im Veritas!" She said with a mouth full of berries.

Charrade joined the group, sitting down near Lucifera. They took note of everybody's names and appearance. "Nice to meet you!" He replied, "Thanks for letting me join."

"Thats also a nice name." Desert claimed semi-disgusted by the mouthful of berries Veritas had in her mouth.

“No problem the more the merrier anyways! Anyways these berries aren’t gonna eat themself!” Veritas said while gulping the berries. “Deeeeeelious,” she said quietly to herself.

"Thanks. Desert is a pretty nice name too." The hybrid replied. She glanced at Charade, nodding at them, acknowledging them.

Desert enjoyed the company, mainly because he hadn't have a picnic before, Desert starts to have a smirk on his face because of it. "So is this what a picnic is like?" Desert says still semi confused.

“Yup! But normally there’s a giant blanket……I have an idea! I’m gonna find a giant leaf for a blanket!” She said looking around for a giant leaf.

The fusion took a few berries, eatting them with a pleased expression. "Yeah!" He replied to Desert with a smile. "Haha, as long as the whole hideout doesn't come! I'd say that'd be a fewww too many-" he turned to face Veritas (referring to the 'the more the merrier') "Oo a leaf blanket for the berry picnic!"

Desert looked ad Veritas a little bit crazy, but he liked the decication. "You have fun with that then." He says in a sarcastic voice

Luci giggled at Veritas' enthusiasm. So young. So innocent. She smiled her crooked smile, a glint in her eyes.

“Yup that would be really chaotic,” she laughed.

Desert nodded along with Veritas, showing he wouldnt enjoy a bunch of mons being there.

“I sure will have fun!” She said walking away quickly looking for a giant leaf. She had heard of a forest called Eterna Forest which was pretty close. “Okay, I need to find Eterna fore- Oh wait it’s right in front of me,” She said to herself looking at the Eterna forest sign.

Lucifera nodded "Yeah, I'd like to keep my sanity, thank you."

Desert added a chuckle when she said that, "Alrighty then, but after 2 hours well come searchin for ya." He said trying to joke around with the Kirlia.

Desert, still hungry takes his bone and hits the tree behind him with it, down falls a pecha berry and oran berry. He takes the berries and takes a bite out of them both.

Luci finished her berries off then lay on her back, paws on the air, then belched. "That was good stuff! Excuse me..hehehe."

Desert nodded and then said. "These berries are very fresh. Somerhing that i need to use in meals." He starts to put some in his fur.

“Got it!! It should be pretty easy with the amount of leaves there are in the forest,” she said while walking into the forest.

"Alrighty then! Have fun!!!" Desert said with a smile on his face now.

Luci rolled back onto her stomach. She tapped her paws a few times and hummed a quick tune. She looked around at the pokemon that sat around her. They were all different. "Soooooooo....how did you guys end up here?"

"For me, i escaped with a few other mons, we killed all the scientists there." Desert said, "When I heard about this, I joined as soon as i can." Desert said while muching on a oran berry afterwards.

Luci's eyes widened in shock. "Wow. Thats crazy. I didn't think humans would be stupid enough to try to experiment on pokemon...I mean, they don't even have any powers."

"Yeah, they made a mistake giving us alot of power, one of us was a remade Kyurem!"

Luci gasped "Thats....actually kinda cool. But it still sucks that you got tortured. I'm sorry you had to go through that..."

Veritas looked around for a leaf. “Huh this is getting tricky to find,” She said. She noticed a noise come from a bush. She turned around and noticed a bush with one giant leaf. “Cool I found it!” Veritas said picking up the giant leaf. Not even a second later a Carnivine popped out chasing after her. She ran as fast as her legs could. “AAAAAAH” she said running out of the forest and near everyone else. The Carnivine realized all the Pokémon and went back to Eterna Forest.

Luci watched Veritas come running out of the forest and growled at the Carnivore, stopping only when it dissapears back into the forest "You okay, Veritas?"

Desert heard the scream and tilted his head, confused. "What just happened?" he said.

“Yup,” she said. “Just a Carnivine!”

"Good, at least you didnt get hurt," Desert said with a sigh of relief after looking around of what happened.

“At least I got the leaf!” She said holding the leaf up in her hands.

"That's great! Lets lay it down now."

She set the leaf down and put a few rocks on it to keep it still. “Now we can put the food here!” She said with a smile.

Desert smiled back and layed down, grabbed a pecha berry, and ate it "Its a beautiful afternoon to do it too." Desert said looking up at the sky. "By the way, Veritas, what brings you here?" He said wonderinf why she was here, she is a nice kid and it was hard for someone as nice as her to be here.

“Well, My old trainer who was a scientist made candies for evolution died of old age. The other scientists weren’t as nice as him so I left. I ran away trying to find a home and I ran into Team Rocket, I was sent here and so I just try my best to be a good member,” She said looking up at the sky too remembering her old trainer.

Luci looked down at the grass. "I'm sorry for your loss, Veritas."

Desert dropped his head down, "Sorry for your loss, I've lost people in my life too." Desert thinks of his comrades who died so he and other fusions can be free.

“It’s ok, I had a friend on my journey to find a home with me but he didn’t come with me to the hideout. He told me to be calm and forget about the past and more about my future,” She smiling.

Charrade listened to everyone's stories, keeping an eye on Veritas to make sure she was alright. "I'm only really here to save my parents..." They added quietly.

“Seems like we’ve all gone through something unfortunate….But if we try our best we can save your parents Charrade! And we can all achieve our goals!

Charrade gave a smile, "Yeah! And- and besides, we're all at a surprisingly safe place were we can make good friends and such!" They paused for a moment, wondering if they should continue by saying 'and if anyone ever needs someone to talk to, I'm always around.'

“Uh, hello?! What about me?!”, Kreg proclaimed.

“Heya Kreg!” Veritas exclaimed.

Charrade looked to Kreg, "Oh dear! I'm very sorry, what's your story?"

Lucifera looked at Kreg, tilting her head slightly "Yeah, how'd you end up here?"

"He must have gotten so angry that he ended up here when fighting a pidgey." Desert said chuckling a little.

“Yeah, my name’s Kreg, and how I got here? Well, first off, NO, I didn’t fight a Pidgey. Secondly, if I did, then it would’ve been an easy victory for me. Thirdly, my parents abandoned me when I was just an egg and I didn’t get to know them, so I lived off the wild (but not professionally) and I didn’t know about them until I asked the locals. Motivated to get my revenge, I turned to this hideout so I can gain the experience I need to teach them a lesson they’ll never forget.”

“Ouch! I hope ya get the revenge you need on your parents! Abandoning kids is just harsh!” She exclaimed.

Luci stayed silent...thinking deeply. She had heard Kreg's story and it reminded her of her own. Who knew she could relate to someone she found so annoying?

Charrade stayed quiet. Kreg wants revenge? I guess in a way I do to! But- he wants to hurt his parents... Is that- normal? Should I hate them instead of The Raiders? Charrade looked to the ground, debating what he could say, if anything.

Desert just looked down, he didnt know what to say. He only met his parents once, and yet. It felt like it was only a dream.

Veritas chomped on the berries looking at everyone who seemed rather quiet. "uhhh,"

“What?” Kreg asked.

Luci snapped out of it, jumping when Kreg said something. "O-oh. Heh, sorry."

He sighs and gets up. “You guys wanna go back to the Hideout? I think they need help with ‘the grunt work’ or something.”

"Yeah, its been a day." Desert said getting up and stretching.

Luci got up, stretched, yawned, and itched behind her ear "Yeah, this was fun, but its my turn to clean my bunkroom. So....yeah."

Charrade nodded and stood up, "Nice meeting you!"

"Nice meeting you too, lets do this again sometime eh?" Desert claimed while still smiling.

Desert, still hungry takes his bone and hits the tree behind him with it, down falls a pecha berry and oran berry. He takes the berries and takes a bite out of them both.

Luci finished her berries off then lay on her back, paws on the air, then belched. "That was good stuff! Excuse me..hehehe."

Desert nodded and then said. "These berries are very fresh. Somerhing that i need to use in meals." He starts to put some in his fur.

“Got it!! It should be pretty easy with the amount of leaves there are in the forest,” she said while walking into the forest.

"Alrighty then! Have fun!!!" Desert said with a smile on his face now.

Luci rolled back onto her stomach. She tapped her paws a few times and hummed a quick tune. She looked around at the pokemon that sat around her. They were all different. "Soooooooo....how did you guys end up here?"

"For me, i escaped with a few other mons, we killed all the scientists there." Desert said, "When I heard about this, I joined as soon as i can." Desert said while muching on a oran berry afterwards.

Luci's eyes widened in shock. "Wow. Thats crazy. I didn't think humans would be stupid enough to try to experiment on pokemon...I mean, they don't even have any powers."

"Yeah, they made a mistake giving us alot of power, one of us was a remade Kyurem!"

Luci gasped "Thats....actually kinda cool. But it still sucks that you got tortured. I'm sorry you had to go through that..."

Veritas looked around for a leaf. “Huh this is getting tricky to find,” She said. She noticed a noise come from a bush. She turned around and noticed a bush with one giant leaf. “Cool I found it!” Veritas said picking up the giant leaf. Not even a second later a Carnivine popped out chasing after her. She ran as fast as her legs could. “AAAAAAH” she said running out of the forest and near everyone else. The Carnivine realized all the Pokémon and went back to Eterna Forest.

Luci watched Veritas come running out of the forest and growled at the Carnivore, stopping only when it dissapears back into the forest "You okay, Veritas?"

Desert heard the scream and tilted his head, confused. "What just happened?" he said.

“Yup,” she said. “Just a Carnivine!”

"Good, at least you didnt get hurt," Desert said with a sigh of relief after looking around of what happened.

“At least I got the leaf!” She said holding the leaf up in her hands.

"That's great! Lets lay it down now."

She set the leaf down and put a few rocks on it to keep it still. “Now we can put the food here!” She said with a smile.

Desert smiled back and layed down, grabbed a pecha berry, and ate it "Its a beautiful afternoon to do it too." Desert said looking up at the sky. "By the way, Veritas, what brings you here?" He said wonderinf why she was here, she is a nice kid and it was hard for someone as nice as her to be here.

“Well, My old trainer who was a scientist made candies for evolution died of old age. The other scientists weren’t as nice as him so I left. I ran away trying to find a home and I ran into Team Rocket, I was sent here and so I just try my best to be a good member,” She said looking up at the sky too remembering her old trainer.

Luci looked down at the grass. "I'm sorry for your loss, Veritas."

Desert dropped his head down, "Sorry for your loss, I've lost people in my life too." Desert thinks of his comrades who died so he and other fusions can be free.

“It’s ok, I had a friend on my journey to find a home with me but he didn’t come with me to the hideout. He told me to be calm and forget about the past and more about my future,” She smiling.

Charrade listened to everyone's stories, keeping an eye on Veritas to make sure she was alright. "I'm only really here to save my parents..." They added quietly.

“Seems like we’ve all gone through something unfortunate….But if we try our best we can save your parents Charrade! And we can all achieve our goals!

Charrade gave a smile, "Yeah! And- and besides, we're all at a surprisingly safe place were we can make good friends and such!" They paused for a moment, wondering if they should continue by saying 'and if anyone ever needs someone to talk to, I'm always around.'

“Uh, hello?! What about me?!”, Kreg proclaimed.

“Heya Kreg!” Veritas exclaimed.

Charrade looked to Kreg, "Oh dear! I'm very sorry, what's your story?"

Lucifera looked at Kreg, tilting her head slightly "Yeah, how'd you end up here?"

"He must have gotten so angry that he ended up here when fighting a pidgey." Desert said chuckling a little.

“Yeah, my name’s Kreg, and how I got here? Well, first off, NO, I didn’t fight a Pidgey. Secondly, if I did, then it would’ve been an easy victory for me. Thirdly, my parents abandoned me when I was just an egg and I didn’t get to know them, so I lived off the wild (but not professionally) and I didn’t know about them until I asked the locals. Motivated to get my revenge, I turned to this hideout so I can gain the experience I need to teach them a lesson they’ll never forget.”

“Ouch! I hope ya get the revenge you need on your parents! Abandoning kids is just harsh!” She exclaimed.

Luci stayed silent...thinking deeply. She had heard Kreg's story and it reminded her of her own. Who knew she could relate to someone she found so annoying?

Charrade stayed quiet. Kreg wants revenge? I guess in a way I do to! But- he wants to hurt his parents... Is that- normal? Should I hate them instead of The Raiders? Charrade looked to the ground, debating what he could say, if anything.

Desert just looked down, he didnt know what to say. He only met his parents once, and yet. It felt like it was only a dream.

Veritas chomped on the berries looking at everyone who seemed rather quiet. "uhhh,"

“What?” Kreg asked.

Luci snapped out of it, jumping when Kreg said something. "O-oh. Heh, sorry."

He sighs and gets up. “You guys wanna go back to the Hideout? I think they need help with ‘the grunt work’ or something.”

"Yeah, its been a day." Desert said getting up and stretching.

Luci got up, stretched, yawned, and itched behind her ear "Yeah, this was fun, but its my turn to clean my bunkroom. So....yeah."

Charrade nodded and stood up, "Nice meeting you!"

"Nice meeting you too, lets do this again sometime eh?" Desert claimed while still smiling.
