*UPDATE* Thanks for the comments and advice, ultimately I decided I was happier with this design, but hopefully I'll be able to use elements of the old design in the future

This one looks sleeker, more agile, it looks more like a middle evolution (to me, at least). The old one looks large and intimidating. Depends on what you're going for with this design. ^^

i love the older one better, not sure if you have done this yet, but you could make a pre-evolution and have its evolution have another form, so the older one being its level up form and the new on using an item or somthing. lol

The older design seems bigger and stronger in my opinion so what if it was like Mega Predatorch?

The older one does seem a bit more substantial, I guess I could juggle the two around and turn the old one into a mega. That's a good idea
