I hate shading and that’s good enough for me. I’m not 100% happy with how this turned out, but it’s not the absolute worst or anything. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯So many white suits and I'm not even doing that on purpose. These are all canon designs showing up in-series. It just keeps happening. And I wasn't kidding when I said I wanted to do a bunch of formal pictures with my pairings. I probably won't do it for all of them since this is a pretty modern-themed thing, but we'll see. Let me know if there's a particular pairing you want to see next for these little formal pictures~ It doesn't mean that's the next one I'll do, but it's still nice to know which characters people want to see more of. ;w;
Also, I don't plan on doing full backgrounds for all of these, so things will switch up every now and then. I tried so hard to not make them merge into the background and I don't think I was super successful with that. OTL
Next thing I'll be working on is another art trade~ ;w;

I think it looks fantastic! You put a ton of effort into this.
I love how fluffy Mayumi's hair looks. Like dang, girl, what kind of conditioner are you using? Their posing and expressions are especially sweet! I'm so far behind, I don't know who Urie is, but they're adorable together! Your background is super detailed as always. It's silly but I like the texture on the bushes, and the tick marks throughout the wood~

Hahaha, well, I didn't want to just have her hair be down, so...added a bit of a wave to it~ I pretty much decided that her hair would never hold a proper curl, so waviness is the closest she'll get to that, haha.
Aaah, well, Urie shows up in :re and starts as an asshole but character development is wonderful~

It's just a tiny bit of awkward posing and feeling like they don't stand out too well from the background. ;w; It's just something I'll have to work on next time I do something like this.

Hey man, there is canon evidence of him not being grumpy! He is capable of expressions beyond neutral or mildly irritated, haha.
Well, there was a day or two in between the base colors and finally getting it shaded. ;w; I did do a stream to kind of...force myself to shade for an extended period of time, so that probably helped out things.
Well...this is Ada's formal design, and I'd have to go find screenshots of whatever Jacob wore to the ball-thing at the end of the game for that. As for Ayaka...well, there's a single panel where he gets forced into trying on a white suit, so that's an option. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So many white suits.
