Yeah, they should probably be orange, but back then I felt that blue shoes (as seen in her SSBM-trophy) would add a nice touch of color to her.

Isn't it amazing that by simple reconfiguring the anatomical structure of someone to look like that of a Goomba seems to make a person look that much cuter?
