I have to say this is kinda wrong. Animals really don't walk like this, so to me it looks very awkward. Take a look at an Mlp walk cycle, thats normally how animals walk in the real world. Then look at this. Notice Ahuizotls' paws don't meet. This might be an animation by you or the animators of Mlp, (if you referenced the walk cycle)Β
And if you did reference this, my apologies. Its the show's animators for making Ahuizotl walk stiff and awkward like this.Β

I actually did use a reference. Not from the show, but a walking cat.
I think I get what you mean though. It does look a bit stiff, but I never claimed I was an expert on animating animals. Maybe I'll revisit it once I get better at this, but for now, it's good enough for me.

Well, I have a basic tutorial in my FAQ, but for this specific sprite, I decided that he would move like a cat, so I looked up how a cat moves. Then I made the body, drew the legs on individual layers and then animated it as usual. It's no big secret, really.

Isn't it enough that I allow people to use my sprites as long as they give me credit? Isn't that good enough for you? Not generous enough? Now I'm supposed to also make templates of my work just because you can't be bothered to put a bit of effort into your work yourself? What, you want it served on a silver platter, too?
