I hope they do update it so it's this high-res. I love desktop ponies, but I don't love how pixellated they look. I'mma proceed to love all over Best Pony now.

Thanks, but these hi-res ponies are just something I do for fun. They are much harder to make than the low-res ones, so I doubt they'll ever replace the current sprites (which strike a good balance between detail and simplicity in my opinion).

I was excited by the idea, I love the desktop ponies, but higher resolution versions would be really neat.

Yes, it would be neat, but those hi-res sprites are much more difficult to make. In my opinion, the desktop pony sprites strike a good balance between simplicity and still looking good.

Nope, didn't use her. The only thing I used was the basic template to get the animation right. Mane, tail and cutiemark are all made from scratch.
