I was in the mood for something simple, so here's Link's fairy companion from the classic Legend of Zelda cartoon.
Although, calling it a "classic" may be a bit of an exaggeration. I only have the faintest of memories from that cartoon, but I don't remember it being very good. Still, fairy.
