2017 was a good year for my custom figure building. Always learning something new, hopefully getting better with each new project. Also got me to learn how to use a camera exposure settings xDAnyhoo here's a group photo of all my Half-Life figures i made this year. did a long exposure and held an LED torch behind Gordon, then moved it upward as I took the exposure, then for whats left I shone it over the figures for a quick bathe of green.

Dr Gina Cross and Dr Colette Green. They are from Half-Life: Decay, which I seem to remember was a game added to the PS2 version of Half-Life. it was a co-op style game where one of you would be shooting the enemy while the other fixed or operated a device. Gina Cross is also the hologram you see in the training area of Half-Life. I don't think Valve made Decay so it never made it to PC so is not considered canon to the whole story.

damn shame. they could've been integral
to the whole HL universe for a co-op mode.
but sadly, since Valve can't count to 3...I doubt
we'll get the chance to see Green or Cross in HL3...if it ever gets done

Their fate is somewhat vague much like the completion date of HL3 xD. they survive long enough to help a scientist get to a radio room to call for HECU help, then go on to help another scientist lessen the resonance cascade effects, possibly closing the gates (which should've stopped the combine and the 7 hour war). but after that they stay on site which means they possibly got nuked when G-man reactivated the bomb in opposing force. I however choose to believe they got in a car and got the hell out of there like Barney does with those scientists. Anyhoo Gina and Colette still kicked some butt and yeah would've been nice to at least see them with Kleiner or Magnussen in his lab or something. One for the modders maybe
