Rivaille x Reader - Thunder Storm

It was pouring outside. You were in the Scouting Legion and you were in your closet of the room you stayed in. You were afraid of thunder, yet you fought titans like they were nothing. Tears were streaming down your face and you covered ears.

*CLAP*

Another thunder clap, making more tears stream down your face and a whimper escape your lips. The Corporal was walking around, making sure all cadets were asleep and checking on them. After checking a room to left of yours, he stumbled across your room and slowly opened the door, in case you were sleeping. He walked in to see an empty bed.

"Tch, what is she up to." Levi sneered.

*CLAP!*

Another thunder clap as he heard a faint whimper. He slowly walked towards the other side of the bed.. He walks a little closer to find you crunched up in the side, covering your ears. You slowly lifted your head up to find an unamused Corporal. Tears still streaming down your face.

"Cadet ______, what're you doing on the side of your bed at this hour?" You whimpered, then stood up.

*CLAP!*

You jumped into the Corporal's arms, staining his shirt with your tears. You looked up at him, embarrassed, pink dusted across your face.
"S-sorry, sir." He stared at you. You stepped back. Only to hear another thunder clap and quickly cover your ears as tears spilled from your eyes. You then slid down to the ground, burying your face into your knees and covering your ears as you hear another thunder clap.

Then you felt a warm pair of arms wrapped around you. You look up to see yourself in Rivialle's arms. "C-Corporal?" You question, but then you hear another clap and your arms are wrapped around his back. "Shhh." He hushes you. "I'm here now." He says as he rubs your back, making you blush a crimson red. You heart flutters. He breaks away from the hug as he takes his handkerchief and wipes your tears away.

"T-thank you.." You say as you smile. You then hear another clap and jump into his arms once again. He places a kiss on your head, ensuring you that he is here, and he will protect you.

And you both stay in each others arms, waiting for the thunder storm to end.
