Had fun with taking macro pictures of some tomatoes

Is the photo too boring? I personally really like it, it makes me feel like it's still summer. What do you think about when you look at the picture?
Do you like the field of depth? What about the colors/saturation? Would you have done the clipping different?
Please just write whatever you feel when you look at the photo

whoa... how did you do this?
what I mean: whenever I try to take photos of something with lots of red in it, I get horizontal lines in the picture. have yet to figure out how to avoid that. any tips?

I don't think it's something with MY camera... maybe the camera type... dunno. I've heard of others who have similar problems, though.

I don't think its boring, but I think there needs to be more definition so you can see the different shapes.

This picture makes me feel HOT. I think the color gives out a lot of energy. It surely feels a bit like summer. However I would have never figured out that these where tomatoes if you hadn't said it in your description. Maybe it's because f the blur, I can't tell one tomatoe from theother except for the one with the little drop on top of it.

Some of my favourite photo art is not the photomanip, not the elaborately decorated models, but the simple stuff like water droplets and flowers. No, it is definately not too boring. It's a wonderful photo - the colours are so happy and uplifting! Though at first glance, it does seem just like a flat colour, as the object the droplet is on and the actual droplet blends a bit too well with the background. Still, awesome Summery photo!

Well all in all it's a really nice shot! It's really expressing what you're trying to express (red I guess?)
It's a great, very very simple shot. There's really not much to say since there's not much in general. I guess it's kinda like drawing a dot on a white sheet of paper. It's simple, nice and that's pretty much it. Only difference is that your dot is not a dot but a huge red blob that covers the whole thing.
One thing maybe I would do to make it more pointful would be perhaps make the droplet more clear, that way the droplet seems to be the focus and it'll look like it has a point.

I love the warm feeling it brings! Is that two tomatoes? I can't really tell them apart. Maybe if you had some more yellow or red, it would help add some pizzaz, but it is definitely a nice picture!

Actually I had a whole little bowl of tomatoes, and just ran around it taking lots of pictures

This photo is not boring, but a little more contrast sure would be nice.
It doesn't feels like summer exactly..My first thing I thought about when looking at it was: fresh tomatos.

It's energy to me. I don't find it boring, I keep watching it and seeing different things. I like the cropping and the saturation. The only thing is that I keep looking for is a focal point. The drop is very similar to the background and my mind keeps looking for it to be a different colour or have a strong highlight.

*grin* don't downplay it... that's how almost everyone works. do something a hundred times and pick the one you like best. people who are "good enough" that they don't have to do that anymore aren't growing as artists anymore.
