A senior nurse I work with. when she was a student nurse, she went out for a run. she did 3km and stopped by a skip to rest and cool down, as she went to cross the road, a car skidded on the icy road. it hit her and smashed her legs into the skip. Kelly landed in the skip her legs ripped off just below her hips. despite her injuries she qualified as a nurse and became a highly skilled trauma specialists. which is how we met. aAs a trauma nurse myself, I had reason to call on her skills on several occasions. that look she's giving me means it's date night when we're finished with this shift.
