I thought this was a picture of a dwarf from the thumbnail...but then I realized it was actually a child.
Very nicely done, I like that it's on a lower angle, so the people walking by have their heads cut off. It kind of puts you closer to the world he sees from his height.

There's a number of different ways one could take a thread & weave a yarn
or two about your lad. A runaway/homeless boy was what I first saw, with the
adults walking passed, taking no notice, as if he doesn't exist. Nice one
