Because, the boy on the bike wishes he could ride in a stroller again, while the boy in a wheelchair wishes he could ride a bike. I find it to be a little sad, but that's just me. >.<

It was very much spontaneous, although I had mentally noted all of them prior to the photo. I was sitting on the bench...two of the three kids on the swings in the background are my twin boys

Lighting was direct sunlight, midafternoon, which is always contrasty. Contrast was a little bumped by the scanning, which had the unfortunate side effect of blowing the highlights
