It turns out the Garble was actually friends with a Pony Princess too.How the episode Dragon Quest could (should?) have happened.
When Garble tries making fun of Spike, his Purple Dragon Friend points out that he was once friends with a Pony Princess too.
Garble: "Why'd you tell them that?! It was supposed to be a secret!"
Purple Dragon: "It's not my fault your mom keeps showing everyone your baby pictures"
The G1 Baby Dragon is actually called Fiery, and he came with the Princess Pearl Pony in the UK. His profile said "he is always very careful to protect his Princess".
He resembles Garble but there are some differences, such as having a more yellowish fins, a white belly and yellow toes. However, he is said to have a somewhat similar personality to Garble as he was said to be a "forceful character" much like Garble.
