Althea Crane stolled through the bustling convention floor, stopping every so often to chat with her fellow cosplayers and take pictures with them. The costume chosen for today wasn't her idea, she was more of a Supergirl fan than Wonder Woman, but her twin sister Cecelia had an idea for a tanden costume idea that she...and their mother Melinda...thought was pretty clever. Allie wasn't as enthused but went along with it in exchange for CeCe's future participation in Al's tandem costume idea. Initially hesitant at Allie's price, especially Al's Bond villain style laughing after CeCe agreed.

Allie cut an impressive silhouette as the Amazing Amazon, thanks in part to her athletic background as a Hitter/Spiker on the university's volleyball team but also due to her superpowers. Her mother was the iconic Mindy Marvel and when Cecelia and Allie were in high school they started developing abilities similar to hers. Blessed with super strength, speed, flight, along with electrokinesis, brontokinesis, and physiques like their mighty muscled mom, the twins adopted the heroic identities of Lia Lightning and Thea Thunder.

Alllie's desire to help extended out of costume...or, in this case, a slightly different costume. Seeing a classmate being harassed by a trio of overzealous convention goers, Allie's brow furrowed as she moved quickly to the scene.

"Is there a problem gentleman?" she asked forcefully.

"Listen blondie, mind your own business" one man replied.

"Yeah...and Wonder Woman's not blonde! Your cosplay is completely inaccurate!" his friend said.

"Cassie Sandsmark is blonde" a third man said to the other two.

"But that is a New 52 suit. If she wanted to be comics accurate she'd be wearing jeans and a t-shirt."

"Or the red pants and black top from Young Justice...and a wig...at least she'd be a passable Wonder Girl..."

"Wonder Girl?! I'm no sidekick...but I am an Amazon..." Allie tersly replied to the group as she flexed her impressive arms as the trios eyes went wide at this display. "And I suggest you leave this guy alone as you're testing my nearly limitless kindness gifted by Aphrodite..."

"Listen here..." one of the guys said as he poked his finger into her chest. The look on her face quickly changed as he realized the mistake he made. Picking him up by his collar, she lifted him off of his feet. Giving him a light toss, he crashed into the other two. Allie stood over the trio as they attempted to get to their feet.

"I suggest you leave now, lest you feel the wrath of Wonder Woman and the Lasso of Hestia..."

"She's crazy...we're out of here..." one of the guys said as he dusted himself off before the trio left.

"You ok Pete?" Allie asked as she helped her classmate straighten out his costume.

"I'm good, thanks Allie."

"It's nice seeing you, dressed in something that isn't the university's mascot outfit."

"Yeah, not having to wear a giant cartoonish head is a nice change of pace" he laughed. "But those three guys are somewhat right."

"Oh?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"You give off more of a Power Girl vibe instead of Wonder Woman."

"My Mom nixed that idea, she's not a fan of the "cleavage window" concept.

"But she's okay with show off more skin as Wonder Woman?"

"She's not consistent with her objections...outside of the courtroom...but she's dressed as Wonder Woman before so she couldn't say too much."

"Your mom dresses up as Wonder Woman?"

"Among other things...we're...not your normal family..."

"I see..."

"This was CeCe's idea...we both dressed up as Wonder Woman...so we're the Wonder Twins."

"That's clever."

"I guess..."

"But you look amazing as Wonder Woman, if that helps."

"Thanks Pete! You look great too! That's a great...um..."

"Link, from the Legend of Zelda series..."

"Right, right...CeCe loves those games..."

"You've never played?"

"Um, no..."

"I'll give you the link to my Twitch channel, I'm going to do a speed run of the first game on the NES this Tuesday. That will help you get a taste of the series...I think you'll like it if you give it a shot..."

"Will do" she replied as she accepted the small card with Pete's Twitch information. "Can you do me a favor?"

"Anything Allie..."

"Can you come over to the costume contest? I think we need someone to explain Ce's joke to the judges..."

"You got it." Pete replied as the two walked over to the stage at the far end of the convention, Allie flinging her arm around the shoulders of her friend.

Thea joins the cosplay fun, but will her and CeCe be docked points with the twin sisters dressing up as Wonder Woman instead of going as the true Wonder Twins of Zan and Jayna?
