I'd love to see something like this implemented.I can't really think of anything to say about this.
Time: 30 minutes.
Used: GIMP 2 and Mozilla Firefox.
EDIT 1: `ginkgografix and I were discussing that it was placed in an awkward place. I attempted to move it into the information tab, however It didn't look too good.
Instead, I made a 'non-pressable' button behind the time. As it looked bare.EDIT 2: Followed `TimberClipse 's advice and only have the time displayed on the page until the button is hovered over by a cursor.

This would definitely be a great addition to dA. I like the idea and placement. I also like the icon. It looks slick.

this is actually a brilliant idea and it would be very useful. I know I get a few people asking me for things by a certain time and by the time I have gotten onto my laptop that time has passed.
also it would be useful so that people could see then what time you are actually on.
because I for one have no idea what time zone nost other countries are on, leaving me wondering when someone is going to reply or someone is going to do something. It does get quite confusing

Looks good, I have the same issue as you probably, since a lot of users are from the Northern Hemisphere and we are so out of time with most of them

Great idea! Perhaps for fix of placement, what if it just said "6:00 AM" not anything else? Then mouse over would expand it?

i love this idea, time zones can be pretty confusing and to have to convert the time on another website just to know what time it is in the deviants region is an unnecessary pain

I don't know about that. Timezones are really simple and if you don't know what it is, just use Google or ask your parents. People shouldn't have to spoonfeed you.
Took me 10 seconds to look up and find an accurate timezone map.
But I suppose, besides the fact that it's extremely easy to convert times, it would be more simple that way.

Not sure about the place, maybe it can be added to the detailed menu you can get from persons... or at the Information widget, but i love this idea. Timeszones don't confuse me that much anymore - dA events were a good teacher lol - but this will be helpful for a lot of people
