Best viewed ( and intended to be viewed) using the "Sitback" feature in the main gallery in fullscreen mode, just hit the pause button to keep the image up.Viewing it on anything but a black background *really* washes it out.
This is my entry for the "Newborn" contest over on Conceptart.org.
Y'know, I doubt i'll win the contest but to be honest its fine if I don't, its been so long since Ive been able to do a personal work and the topic was something I just couldnt resist.
Due to being short on time and inbetween assignments I knew I had to do something with lots of negative space.
Luckily the image-size requirements weren't hugenormous so I got down to it and busted this guy out.
Well..."busted out" for me is about 4 days, 8+hours a day -hee hee!

Weirdest of all, the shadow in the foreground really does it for me.
It shows a looming, menacing aspect, out of view.

I'd love to be able to crawl into your brain and discover all the interesting bits that must be lurking in the shadows. Of course that would probably be a bad idea, not only would it create a horrible mess, I'd have to explain to the hubby exactly why I was going through someones brains on our nice wood floor, not to mention that would most likely put an end to all the wonderful art.
