Description
i love exploring the old copper mine in the area where i go to school. there's just so much stuff to play in and on. the mines were abandoned between the 1920's and 1960's, depending on the company that owned each one, so everything is old and falling apart. it's great. this is the side of part of a boiler for an old steam powered tractor. no touch ups to the color, just tweaked the shadows a bit 'cuz the picture came out slightly brighter than it really was.Related content

Hmm, fairly simple, yet the texture/detail of the rust is amazing

when i saw the thumbnail, i thought this was a render.
i like that you find interesting facets of things. many people would have passed with by without blinking an eye. thanks for noticing it and showing us this little treasure.
nice work.

great texture, i love the repetition, very strong... and i love the rusted area in the middle... considering the copper mine being abandoned, it gives a great meaning like somebody left this before they left as a signiture... i loved the composition.. it is kind of uneasy... especially due to the curve towards the right and hard edge cropping (natural or maniped?)... very expressive... it is not just a photograph of an explorer... it bears a lot more than that...you added your interpretation to it... excellent work...

That has some really cool textures and colours. And the border sets the picture off really nicely. Nice picture, and the setting/description is interesting as well.
