A Cthonian from Brian Lumley's mythos works (the ones that dont suck
) the story 'Cement suroundings' has special meaning to me as 'Radcar' the town destroyed in the story is near my home town and was a popular summer haunt in my youth. A few of lumleys mythos works seem to have been set up here on the northeast coast.this was originally drawn as part of cd packaging and went in the cd tray, the cd had a worm cast painted on it and when it was removed the beast was revealed. full art for the cd is here [link]

it is indeed redcar and newmarske, he just named it radcar for some reason. also in another story there is a gate way to an underground city of sentient aquatic amphibians underneath near saltburn. most of his other stuff is wank, in one book the combined forces of ALL of the old ones and outer gods gets defeated by the power of human love. *puke*
