Right you are, Maxie. X3I've never seen any of the Disney Channel teen shows, so I can't decipher on whether I like them or not. But all I know is, I'm 100% positive that the classic animated movies/shows will be a lot better. Including the classic live-action ones.
BTW, I just mean that back then, there weren't those teen shows that are on now; instead, it was all animation. Oh and also, I'm referring to sequels and prequels too. Plus, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, and Frozen are awesome, and I'm sure Big Hero 6 is too, but I haven't seen it.

I didn't care for most of the shows on the Disney Channel, not as a kid or as an adult. The whole teen theme was way overdone, over rated and way out of touch with its own decade.

I can't speak for what is being aired there since after a funky rewiring at the family house we only get a few basic channels and do mostly streaming
My brother in law is an I.T. guy and he is always messing around with anything electronic. Experimenting and recoding...

I personally don't like the new Disney Channel, I remember all the older shows and I was happy with just that. Now, I don't watch Disney Channel unless I'm bored out f my mind. :/ Max is right, older Disney Channel was a lot better, but the movies new and old I love all the same.

Same here; I haven't seen any of the teen shows on Disney Channel, except a bit of Wizards, and the 1st Suite Life, but that's it. The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa is my favorite show ever. X3

I've seen those too, I used to love the Suite Life of Zach and Cody, it was hilarious. And I do remember watching a few episodes of TaP, but since I hadn't watched The Lion King, I wasn't super interested. I didn't really get it. X3

I'm totally with you on this, Disney Channel isn't as good as it used to be. It used to have all our beloved Disney cartoons but now they just show crappy sitcoms, the only good new Disney cartoons are now on Disney XD which is fine but I still miss the days when Disney Channel was cool

I agree. That crap on current Disney Channel is impossible to watch without sick sack. Where are all the good shows? Where is our beloved Disney animation? I can't believe those clever chaps from Disney really think those dumb live-action shows airing now promote Disney material better than the old animated series.
I think the main problem is that Disney nowadays tries to target only small part of audience instead of whole family spectrum like before. And it is not about the content itself anymore, it's all about money. "Well, we COULD make bright, original and funny animated shows like we used to, but why bother? Quality costs money and we, as a company operating world-wide and making billions USD from every crappy movie we make, obviously can't afford it." Yeah, right. This isn't about presenting good movie to the audience anymore, it's all about cheap crap. Honestly, I think they are just too rich. They don't need to make good movies anymore, they are so famous people will eat anything they produce and be obsessed with it. With Disney it is obviously about quantity instead of quality, now.

Yea. I did hear that there'll be a new series for The Lion King called "The Lion Guard." Even though it's mostly targeted for kids, I'm planning on giving it a chance. ^_^

We'll it was great. They used have Disney films and cartoons on there all time. Plus not metion they some documentaries about parks and other stuff on there including Walt Disney himself. He hosted lot of stuff on there I Remmber it as I watched it. I think should've keeper on there in his honor. It's now nothing related to him!

We'll the old Disney Chanel ( before what it is now) there was series of documentaries called "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" Walt Disney himself hosted it and it was on every day. Each day on that show he talked about differnt things. Sometimes he talk about his movies or his parks. Sometimes he talk about wildlife animals etc. I know used to watch it all time. I miss it a lot along with the other shows and movies that used to be there before the Chanel decided to go all teen on us.
