I remember snapping this photo many years ago, and thinking, 'Thank you, Beth. Thank you, Utah.'Related content

I really, really love your series of "plush animals in dramatic natural landscape" shots! My Kosen Studio Wolf would be fun to do this with but I would get caught up on the logistics of it since the house she is at is in a suburb in the Midwest.

Thank you. I used to have a webpage exclusively devoted to 'wildplush' photos, back in the very early 00's. I would be travelling about and shooting plush in interesting locations like National Parks, and people would come up to me (or us) and we'd talk about it, and I'd end up giving them the web-address. I remember once I was photographing a Folkmanis Coyote on the South rim of the Grand Canyon, and this older guy behind me pointed him out to someone and said, "Is that a muskrat?"
Another time I drove 5000" up a mountain to get some shots with a boxfull of plush. A few hikers passing by must have wondered what in hell was going on.
I noticed that there are sort of modern equivalents, but devoted to Breyer horse models. The technique would be entirely different, as you'd be dealing with close-ups manipulated to seem panoramic, but spiritually the concept is very similar.
