This is where Zelda's kinder, calmer side is definitely needed.
Link looks completely exhausted, but I see what looks like tension in his hands still to perhaps raise the sword again, maybe not quite believing the fight for his life (and everyone else's) is over.

Mm, that was the general inspiration for the image.
I designed this Link without a scabbard, to try and give the feeling that he's carried the Master Sword over the whole quest. He can only put it down when the final evil is defeated... but now he's held it so long, he can't remember what peace-time felt like.

Great work. The top 2/3 of negative space is used really well and emphasizes Link's sorrow and despair. On a less artistic sounding note, great job on Zelda's dress poofing around.
