Description
After almost four years, I decided to make a follow-up to the Marvel vs DC Quadro Peril image, I made in 2015.
Also included some Easter Eggs, hope you all will like
PANEL 1:Β Random Bindings ( Lasso of Persuasion ) - starring: Donna Troy & Shanna the She-Devil
Just another day in the Savage Land. The unlikely duo of Donna Troy and the fierce Shanna the She-Devil find themselves captured and tied up on a raft.
So far no problem ... unfortunately even moronic savages get lucky once in a while, as they happened to bind the two with Troy's very own Lasso of Persuasion.
There's no easily escaping this trap now!
PANEL 2: Tentacle Peril - starring: Starfire & Firestar ( featuring Starro )
I'll admit I couldn't help it, putting these three characters together was just too tempting. There's a pun hidden in here somewhere, I am sure. Several, actually
The brave girls on fire, Starfire and Firestar, team up to battle the cosmic calamity known as Starro.
Right now the villain has the upper hand, it appears ( even though he has no hands ). How will the dazzling duo turn the tides?
PANEL 3: Veggie Peril - starring: Huntress & Spider-Woman ( featuring Poison Ivy )
You just don't mess with the Green's chosen warrior. A lession, Spider-Woman is finding out the hard way, as she gets entangled in Poison Ivy's vines alongside Huntress.
Whatever Ivy is planning, looks like the two superheroines are in no position to stop her at the moment.
PANEL 4: Giant Hand Peril - starring: She-Hulk & Wonder Woman ( featuring Galactus )
It seems nigh impossible for two powerhouses like She-Hulk and Wonder Woman to bite off more than they can chew ... still, looks like that's exactly what happened here.
Interrupting the mighty Galactus' dinner preparations, the two suddenly end up trapped, as the Devourer of Worlds quite literally gets a grip on things.
Of course ... She-Hulk would make a bad pun about their dilemma
Donna Troy, Starfire, Starro, Huntress, Poison Ivy and Wonder Woman belong to DC!
Shanna the She-Devil, Firestar, Spider-Woman, She-Hulk and Galactus belong to MARVEL!

When I realized it's been almost four years since the first one, I felt it was time for a sequel
The cartoony perils aside, there is something really fulfilling about drawing Marvel and DC characters.
It's like testing my skills on the big time players, seeing where I really stand, art-wise.
Drawing OC's is fun, but it mostly lacks this special experience.
That and I grew up with many of these characters, so there's nostalgia

Also, yeah, there is something to be said for doing stuff with these foundational characters. Hell, I've got something cooking up involving my favorite female superheroes and cartoon/game heroines caught in some perils I've either always wanted to see them in, or feel they don't get into enough.

Indeed. That and I usually don't team-up my OC with those characters, because I feel not worthy to walk along those creations.
While Marvel and DC have their fair share of what-the-fuckery, in general I put those characters and franchises on a pedestal, I sure will never reach.
I mean, obviously! Look at the legacies and fanbases, the very definition of the word "legendary"
It always cracks me up when some random kid creates an OC on the internet and actually thinks they have outdone legendary comic character so-and-so.
We don't get to decide that. Poison Ivy is not a great character because her creator felt she was, but because of the fanbase she has developed.
But I digress

Well, I don't do any teamups with the big names simply because I don't have time for that shit. I've got my own characters to play with, there's no point to me doing anything with the established characters. I'd rather they come to me to do a crossover/teamup. If I go to them or I do it myself, that's an acknowledgement of where I am on the totem pole. But if I get invited? That says everything right there.Β
And yes, at the end of the day, it's other people that decide where our stuff goes or how good it is. So many folks just don't get that!
I am too. It's going to be a long term thing, one to two years I think. Got an artist who I'm going to commission between one and every other month to do some pics of some of my favorites in scenarios I've either wanted to see them in, or feel like they haven't been in enough. I may start this month too, if I can get the details done in a timely manner. I'm very excited about it.

Yeah, exactly. It makes you feel inferior to the nth degree.
Many internet OC are, in fact, but not all. Some could go on to great heights, if given the chance.
Speaking of given the chance, my point exaclty.
I don't get that attitude, it's a complete no-brainer to me.
Just because I can write a song and perform it, I'm not immediately a rockstar.
I need fans and support and lots of that. Before that I am just another face in the crowd.
