True. Moments like that can be special to most of us.
I just think Steven's a little boring compared to the other three gems. At least Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl have more colourful personalities than just looking good.
And, yes. I know Steven represents the reality side of the show's fantasy genre, hence his average kid persona. And no offence, But the problem I have with him is he's like an overrated charisma vacuum, and some of the episodes are mostly about Him, with or without the gems.

I know that. I'm just saying that just because the title is named after the main character, that doesn't necessary mean that Steven should be shown non stop throughout each episode without giving other characters a chance.
Take Spongebob Squarepants for example. True, I may hate the new episodes, but it proves my point of a show that gives a fair amount of attention given to more characters than just the title character.

You know, admittedly deep down, I admire Steven. Despite the obnoxious enthusiasm and awkwardness, He kinda represents a more down to earth kind of Underdog hero character that I can't help but find interesting. He has No gimmicks, no muscular physique, and particulary no stand up personality. But even though his mother passed away earlier in his life, he's still got the courage to live life to the fullest and being the best hero he can be as well as being himself.
Anyway, let's hear what you've learned about the character.

That's a great way to put it cause it actually ties into what I learned from tumblr
Since the characters are set around birthstones as they carry on various traits of how they emote and function (my birthstone is actually pearl lol) That one made a theory about how the 3 represent the functions of the mind. Garnet is the Ego of how she keeps everyone in balance, so its fitting for her to be the leader (that's why her gems are on her hands). Amythest is the Id as she functions mostly based on how she feels with her emotions (hence her gem near her heart), and Pearl is the Superego as she always tend to use her mind and logic to come up with strategic plans and educate those like Steven to help them improve (hence why her gem is on her head)
How does Steven fit into all that? Well when looking it up, her mother Rose Quartz is not one of the birthstones because its considered not pure enough or something like that. So it could be said in one way that's why Steven has a hard time using his powers. But in the episode about Cookie Cat (yes, the one with the song you don't like lol ) when you see him enjoying the ice cream so much, he is just in pure bliss. Because he's still a kid, he's innocent, wide-eyed curious, optimistic and any thing else one can muster for a goofball like him. Its enjoying even the simpliest of things like cookie cat that helped him to activate his powers, when he's just enjoying being a kid.
