#11 Greatest Adventurer

Every now and again me and my group run an excessively hard D&D or Pathfinder game and see if the players can beat (or at the very least, survive) it. To spruce up the game a bit, I made achievements for the game.

This is the first one: First Magic Item. Whoever gets the first magic item in the adventure gets this achievement. It's actually funny at times, because as soon as the party realizes that there's a magic item in front of them, it becomes quite the mosh-pit.

Q: May I use this?
A: Of course!

Q: Should I give credit?
A: For personal use, no need. If you post or share this anywhere, yes please.

I can totally see this happening.

"Dude...your character can't even use swords!"
"Who cares! It's magical!"

A great idea. This turns many of the standard tropes and player foibles to a DM's advantage. I'm about to start a Dungeon Crawl Classics game, and this seems perfect for it. Especially since each player starts with multiple characters and they get winnowed down to the remaining party. Gotta try this list on my group. Thanks.

Glad to hear it! From what I read in your journal entry there you are a man of the classic style of adventuring, more power to you :
You're most certainly welcome to use these
