Description
This is a remake of my merfolk fakemon I did a while back. Didnt change much, I just redrew em in my new style and gave em ear fins.

Merkid (Mere (Old english word for sea) Kid)
-Water
-Kid Fish pokemon
Merkids are quite rare pokemon. They are small and cheerful, but they\'re size makes them easy prey, so they are usually hidden safely with their parent pokemon, on the ocean floor.

Merkid evolves into Mertriton at Lvl. 25 if Male.

Mertriton (Mere Triton)
-Water/Fighting
-Man Fish pokemon
Mertritons are big and muscular water pokemon.They are strong enough to smash underwater boulders with their bare fists. They compete with other Mertritons in battles of strength to impress Siremaids. Once paired with a Siremaid they become fiercely devoted to them and their offspring, protecting them no matter what.

Merkid evolves into Siremaid at Lvl. 25 if female

Siremaid (Siren Mermaid)
-Water/Psychic
-Woman Fish pokemon
Siremaids are very humanoid pokemon, resembling beautiful young women with a fish tail instead of legs. They usually like to sunbathe on ocean rocks and sing. Their singing abilities are apparently hypnotic, and sometimes sailors may get dizzy from hearing their song, causing accidents. Though they aren't visible, Mertritons are generally patrolling Siremaids sunbathing on the surface from underwater, incase anything happens to them.

They are based on merfolk, which are people with a fish tail in place of legs. The term mermaid is more well known though. Siremaid is also based on a Greek Siren, which is usually considered the same as mermaids and Mertriton is also based off of Triton, the son of the greek god poseidon who was typically depicted as a merman.
