A concept sketch for Matt & Pat's Bomb-Ass Adventures.

When one of the Best Friends are surrounded and overwhelmed by a large group of dudes, they can unleash their own BURST ATTACK which will send them flying back. Much like those 'Cast from HP' special moves in Beat em Up games.

Each of the Best Friends has their own Burst Attack.

Matt has the DOUBLE LARIAT. Spinning around rapidly with his arms out, he creates a damaging whirlwind. Based on Mike Haggar's (from Final fight) attack with the same name.

Pat has the GINGER FLARE. He releases his anger in intense flames that scorch those around him. Not based on any attack in particular, but it IS pretty cool and fitting

Woolie has the ELECTRIC THUNDER. He channels high voltage electricty to shock his enemies. Based on Blanka's (from Street Fighter) attack with the same name.

And lastly Liam has the RISING SUPER STARBURST. He does a glorious fistpump that unleashes moe stars that hit his enemies HARD. Like Pat, this attack isn't based on anything in particular. But Starbursts are a thing, they are very delicious candies..

These could also work for a Best Friends beat em' up game too perhaps..
