Very good for your own stuff! I can see how it can be confused for some roto action

Toon boom has a brush that does not affect the line art, so it's just a matter of drawing in the shadows. It's far easier than doing it in other programs, imo.

ooh the draw behind tool? lol yeah ive been using that the whole time pretty much, i thought there was a different way i could do this, like with layers but i guess i gotta color on the lineart layer. hmm and yeah shadows will be a problem for me. how do you deal with those? xD

They are drawn on as shadows.

Pretty good. I find that the volume of her torso needs a bit of work. I know she's coming closer towards the camera in her spin but when her belly faces completely towards the camera, it has a bit of a weird bulge at her right oblique area. Still, really well done and I love how you did the fire technique.Β

Is this frame-by-frame? If so, how many frames does this take?

Oh wow I thought I commented on this already : O
Aaaaanyway:
I like this animation very much! Not only do you have a spinning character with hair-physics, there's also a changing light source! Very impressive! One of your best animations so far!

It turned out really great! Β The fire effects are quite nicely done and really pop against the black background.
